Karen Radford
For
Karen Radford, industry expertise, a commitment and passion for
her work and a vision to inspire others have proven to be the
winning combination to her professional success.
As President of Partner Solutions, Karen leads
her team in creating and executing key strategies to drive revenue
growth. This position allows her to showcase her proven abilities
in building customer relationships therefore providing value to
Canadian, American and global service providers. She is also responsible
for securing national and international off-net requirements to
facilitate TELUS’ growth and market expansion.
Since joining TELUS in 1998, Karen has been recognized
for her ability to lead teams to deliver exceptional results in
customer care and operations. She spearheaded TELUS’ customer
focused re-organization and was instrumental in the success of
TELUS’ national expansion into Ontario and Quebec as Vice
President, Customer Care.
With more than a decade of increasingly senior
positions within the telecom industry, Karen has built a solid
track record of achievements including developing and leading
teams in times of change, crisis and rapid growth.
Karen began her telecommunications career at
NBTel, now Aliant, where she honed her skills in marketing, sales,
information solutions and operations. She holds a Masters of Business
Administration from Dalhousie University as well as a Bachelor
of Science from Mount Allison University. Consistent with TELUS’
values, Karen is keenly committed to her local community, engaged
with youth leadership organizations and is an active speaker on
strategic leadership.
Karen lives in Calgary with her husband and two
sons.
