Patricia
Lovett-Reid is a Senior Vice President with TD Waterhouse Canada
Inc., and one of
Canada’s leading
authorities on matters of personal finance and wealth management
strategies. Patricia has held a number of executive positions within
The Toronto-Dominion Bank, was the former anchor at Report on
Business Television, and host of the personal finance programs
MoneyWise and MoneyLine.
In August 2004,
Patricia was awarded with an honorary Fellow of the Canadian
Securities Institute (FCSI) designation in recognition of her
commitment to helping educate Canadians about investing and personal
finance and specifically, in helping women and youth take a more
active role in their financial affairs. In addition to her recent
appointment, Patricia holds the designation of Certified Financial
Planner.
A sought-after
speaker, Patricia is frequently called upon by the media to comment on
the markets and financial planning matters. She is also the co-author
of three books on the subject of financial wealth management for
women.
Patricia also
leads an active personal life; happily married and a mother to
four teenagers. She is a physical fitness enthusiast and a
committed marathon runner, having successfully completed the 2004
Ottawa
marathon.
